Information regarding closure to Northcote Aquatic & Recreation Centre until further notice

The health and safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority during the current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

As part of Darebin City Council planned response to reduce the chance of the virus spreading, we have temporarily closed Northcote Aquatic & Recreation Centre from midday Tuesday 17 March until further notice.

There are no confirmed cases of the virus within Northcote Aquatic & Recreation Centre staff or members.

We understand how important this facility is to you as a customer and recognise this is a difficult process for everybody.

We will continue to work with Darebin City Council to ensure we are doing what is best for our community by monitoring the situation very closely and following the advice of the DHHS, so that we can reopen our facility as soon as is practical.

Your membership will automatically be placed on free suspension during the time that we are closed, so you won’t be charged.

We will remain contactable throughout the closure period should you have any questions. We will also ensure we provide updates as they become available. In the meantime, you can keep updated via the Darebin City Council website here www.darebin.vic.gov.au or Facebook page.
For more information and the latest on COVID-19, see the DHHS resources.

Please take care of yourselves and others. The sooner we can slow down and stop the spread of coronavirus, the sooner we can return to normality.
